Study to join the world of floristry and explore the opportunities of the industry, or just to connect with a beautiful floral journey and explore and extend your own capabilities.

Well trained by the prestigious Carin Muller Institute in Paris in 2014, Mona brings an authority on floral design unique to Sydney, informed by her study both locally and abroad in France and Korea. 

  • WEDDING BOUQUET

    Duration: 2.5–3 hours

    Level: Intermediate (basic floral experience recommended, but not required)

    What You’ll Learn:

    • The art of designing timeless, romantic bridal bouquets
    • Flower selection for weddings: texture, tone, and symbolism
    • Garden-style vs. classic round bridal bouquet structures
    • Spiral hand-tied technique for larger-scale arrangements
    • Finishing touches: ribbon wrapping, stems, and bouquet balance
    • Tips on flower care for wedding-day freshness

  • HAND-TIED BOUQUET

    Duration: 2–2.5 hours
    Level: Beginner to Intermediate

    • Wrapping & ribbon finishing for gifting or display

  • VASE ARRANGEMENT

    Duration: 2–2.5 hours

    Level: Beginner to Intermediate

    What you’ll learn:

    • Floral design principles (balance, proportion, texture)
    • How to select the right vase & flowers for each style
    • Mechanics for vase stability (chicken wire, pin frogs, tape grids)
    • Creating organic, garden-style or structured arrangements

    • Your own finished vase arrangement to take home
  • PORTFOLIO CLASS

    A an artistic class, this option can be run as a single day class or added onto an existing Chateau Mona course. Explore your creativity and craft unique bouquets and blooms with arrangements that explore conceptual ideas, shapes, and moods.

    Professional photography is included to capture your work in a professional portfolio.

    Finish your class with a body of work, and to launch a career in artistic floral work, commercial floral, set dressing, and visual merchandising work.
